If you are not afraid...

Teacher
. . . to stand in front of a classroom and speak passionately about the piano for a three hour session, you could be well on your way to an incredible career.

We have been teaching one day piano workshops since 1982, and have been training piano teachers to give these workshops since 1990.

Many of our workshop leaders have become quite successful at it, earning very comfortable yearly incomes in this exciting field.

Craig Coffman photo I have been teaching the "Instant Piano" classes since 1993 and it has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I have ever done. I teach something that I know is very valuable to my students and I make a good living at the same time. I can't think of anything else I could do where I could make hundreds of dollars in a single evening and and have so much fun at the same time. It is extremely gratifying to teach people who are so eager to learn what I have to offer.

--Craig Coffman, Phoenix, AZ

For the past two years we have closed our training program to new workshop leaders. But now we have opened the program back up. As student demand for this program grows, we have long-time workshop leaders who are retiring. For the time being we are actively seeking new people to become seminar leaders to fill the demand all across the United States.

If you have what it takes to be a Workshop Leader in the Instant Piano Seminar Program, you could be on your way to a truly dream career.

Here is who we are looking for:

  • someone who enjoys teaching to groups of adults

  • someone who really believes in our system of teaching and can pass that enthusiasm on to others

  • someone with a sales background (or willingness to learn plus charisma)

  • someone with a strong sense of ethics

  • someone we can work with comfortably

If you think that person could be you, we invite you to learn more about us and then to submit an application. And be sure to get on our newsletter list by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.

Job Description:
You will be trained to teach the three and a half hour workshop called Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People. This is the same short course that was featured in Time Magazine a few years ago and is the model for Scott Houston's Piano In a Flash program on Public Television. In fact, Scott learned how to teach our workshops in our training program before he brought his classes to television. Scott still uses our materials when he teaches his live workhops.

We will teach you how to find places to teach, advertise for students, and take care of registration all at zero cost to you. We give you a formula for teaching the workshop and for all the behind the scenes details that go into it.

The seminar business in general is very lucrative. Frankly, it's one of the easiest ways I know of for making a large sum of money in a very short time. It's a huge business over all, whether the topic is real estate, business opportunities, Internet marketing, or whatever. We were the first to put a piano course into this format, and we're still the biggest and the best.

As one of our Workshop Leaders you will decided when to teach, where to teach, how often to teach, and you will never ever have a boss to answer to.

Any music teacher can do this at any age.

Requirements:
You will need to possess the following basic skills:

  • basic chord piano skills
  • ability to do a fairly simple demonstration on the piano in class
  • good communication skills
  • classroom charisma
Formal piano training or college degree not necessary. You will be required to make one five-minute very low key sales presentation during your classroom presentation. As you will be handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions, you will need to have basic organizational skills (light bookkeeping). We will train you in all aspects.

Compensation:
The way it usually works is you will be paid according to the number of students in your workshop plus your extra in class sales of our products. You are NOT responsible for filling seats. You will partner with others who advertise, provide the location and piano, and fill the seats. In exchange for their services, you split the proceeds from the workshop registration fees. Typically you would earn $20 to $25 per student just from registration fees.

Plus they buy required materials from you, another $12.50 or so per student into your pocket.

Plus students will buy optional "home study" materials, available on a display table at the back of the room.

Even with no extra sales you could easily make $750 in a single evening from a class of just 20 students. Our best veteran Workshop Leaders have earned as much as $4500 in a single day, most of it in cash that they can deposit in their bank accounts the very next day.
